Five Reasons to Shoot Your TV Advert on a Film Studio

20 August 2024

Thinking of using a TV advertising film studio for your next advert? Here are five reasons why you should.

1. Faster Turnaround

When it comes to turnaround, nothing beats working in the right space for the right task. Filming an advert can quickly become a complicated beast with lots of large, expensive equipment needing to be carefully operated. Working in a TV advertising film studio can do a lot to minimise turnaround issues by giving you a large indoor space to work in.

2. Lighting Control

Speaking of a large indoor space, you’ll find few places that are quite as perfect for lighting control as a TV advertising film studio. Not only will you never have to deal with unpredictable conditions, but an experienced team will also be able to use the space to their full advantage, giving them precise control over every aspect of the lighting.

3. Iteration

Alongside the faster turnaround comes the ability to iterate. Working in a space that’s designed to contain film equipment means you can make fast alterations to your plans. If you’re the type of director who loves to make extra takes, ready to be reviewed in post-production, then a TV advert studio is the perfect solution for you.

4. Low Risk

Shooting on location comes with a lot of risks and, even if everything goes perfectly, you’ll have to devote a huge amount of time and thought to avoiding the common pitfalls. By cutting down on risk, a studio allows you to think about the parts of production that really matter, saving your mental energy for the places that need it the most.

5. Production Value

Last but not least, you should never underestimate all the little ways  TV advertising film studios can have a major impact on your production value. When people look at your company, you want full control over what they see. If you want to craft an advert that really tells the story of your company, then a TV advertising film studio is the perfect place to make that happen.
